(Hibs) in Kuwaiti maritime terminology refers to a slipway or dock used
for raising and lowering ships.

and served ship owners by facilitating the unloading and storage of ship
equipment. Historically, hibuses were large stone walls with stairs for access,
and were places where children played, fished, and swam.
